| | Veterans Resources, Veteran Bikers, and Veterans Motorcycle Clubs | | | | | | | | | BIKERS USA has been supportive of US Armed Forces and veterans since our inception. The editor is a veteran of the Vietnam era, as are most of the bikers I know. I didn’t get sent to that hell hole, but many of the people in my family did get sent there. Some of them also served during the Gulf War. This page may be just a listing of veterans resources, but please, never forget that veterans are one of the most important resources in America. | | | |

 | | | | | | Disabled Veterans Advisory: If you are going through a divorce and receiving veterans disability payments, you and your attorney need to be mindful that some judges have very wrongfully been including veterans disability payments when calculating alimony payments. Tell your attorney to brush up on U.S. Code, Title 38, section 5301(a) before the divorce hearing. Veterans disability payments cannot be used in the calculation of alimony. Period. The judge should not order you to pay any portion of your disability payment to your former spouse. Be aware that it goes deeper than that - your disability payment should not even be considered in the calculations. If a judge has made this wrongful judgement, have your attorney appeal for a reversal of the decision immediately! Even if such a wrongful judgement happened several years ago, since this is money that the US taxpayers pay to your benefit and your benefit alone, a competent attorney should be able to review your situation, get your case re-opened based on new knowledge not brought forward at the time, and have the decision reversed. Judges often cite contempt charges and throw people in jail for failing to abide by their decisions; even when their decisions are wrong. A competent attorney who understands all the above should know how to keep the judgement lawful in the first place, and quickly react to wrongful judgements, helping you to avoid arrest and jail-time for contempt. | | | | Hatemongers - Baptist Church in Oklahoma told by their leader to disrupt funerals of American Soldiers. BIKERS are standing up to them. See Patriot Guard Riders. | | | Don’t let them close the doors of Walter Reed Army Hospital without having a suitable replacement immediately available. | |
 | I’ve tried hard to keep political rants off of this site, but then I was asked to “rally the bikers once again”. Supposedly, it was to rally them to “show support for American troops and their families”. (That sounded pretty good!). As I read deeper, I found it was to USE bikers waving flags as a political maneuver against anti-war picketers wearing pink outside Walter Reed. Now it was starting to look political, and it was looking like someone else trying to USE bikers and twist the truth. I read even deeper and found bikers were being asked to rally in a show of continued support of the Presidents agenda in Iraq. Hold on! As weird as I think that particular group of anti-war picketers are for choosing pink rather than red white and blue,... I don’t post motorcycle events in support of or against any political candidates! When bikers roll through DC during the Run For the Wall, they are not there to benefit a particular political candidate. They are there so that America will stop allowing POW’s and MIA’s to be forgotten and left behind as a matter of convenience. When bikers roll to the Pentagon, the fields of Pennsylvania, or ground zero in Manhattan, they are not there to show their support for the policies of any political candidate. They ride for fallen Americans and to show their unity and resolve as a nation. They would do this regardless of who is sitting in the oval office. Half of them support your political candidate, half of them don’t, and they are all red-blooded Americans. |
 | | | Support Your Troops. Please continue to support your troops, regardless of what other politics you support. The troops are doing their job, following their orders from the chain of command, and doing it well. Let us hope that, as a nation, we have learned it was terribly wrong to shun soldiers and veterans, during and after Vietnam. The military is, and always will be, the most honorable service you can do for your country. It is with patriotic voice that you speak up and tell your government how you want the country run. That is a freedom and our natural right. Anyone who tells you that you are not patriotic if you speak against a politician, has no idea what freedom is all about. As free people, we bow to no king. SUPPORT YOUR TROOPS, LOVE YOUR COUNTRY, CHERISH YOUR FREEDOM, and THANK A VETERAN. Many have died for your freedom. Many died for your right to speak up! |
 | | | BUSH VETERANS BUDGET CUTS President Bush doesn’t want to tell you to your face, so turn around and bend over. People who have seen the Budget he proposes say there are going to be steep cuts in veterans benefits. If you want it more sugar-coated, I did a search of Google and found 355,000 hits for search terms Bush Veterans Budget Cuts. Please go there if you think he gives a damn about veterans who have honored our nation with their service. |
